CLASSIFICATION OF MEDICATION
Prescription Only Medicines (POM, RX):
A pharmaceutical drug that can only be obtained from a qualified veterinarian registered/ licenced in Singapore, or from a pharmacist with a prescription from a qualified veterinarian registered/ licenced in Singapore.
The condition to be treated needs to be diagnosed and treated by a qualified veterinarian. It can also have serious side effects which require a qualified veterinarian's monitoring or follow up.

Pharmacy Only Medicines (P*):
A pharmaceutical drug that can be obtained from a pharmacist at a retail pharmacy. The condition is self-limiting and can be assessed and treated by pharmacists.
​
To ensure adequate safeguard for the proper use of medicines, The Pet Pharmacy is legally required to keep a record when dispensing/selling these medicine.
​
Members of the public can facilitate this process by providing the following details when purchasing a Class P medicine: Name, NRIC, Contac details (address, contact # and email).
​
General Sale List (GSL):
A pharmaceutical drug that can be freely obtained from any retailer over the counter. It can be used safely by the public without medical supervision and intended for short term self-treatment only.

PRODUCT PURCHASE
1. Once you and your veterinarian have decided on the best treatment for your pet(s), you can order medication on our website.
​
2. Request that your local veterinarian send us a completed prescription letter/ form/ order (where applicable).
3. Go to the cart and make payment once your local veterinarian has sent out the completed prescription letter/ from/ order via PayNow or Cash (for in-store collection only and requires prior arrangement).
4. Choose from the delivery methods available.

5. We will send our vet-approved, high-quality medication and supplement to you between Monday to Friday, 12 pm - 6 pm.
All prescription will be dispensed/ shipped only after receipt of a valid prescription letter/ form/ order sent via email, verified by the signatory.
​
To obtain a prescription medication, you can download the document below, request that your local veterinarian fill it up for you, sign and email it back to us using your veterinarian's email.
​
Same day delivery can only be fulfilled if your completed prescription form has been verified, your transaction has been completed and payment confirmed before 2 pm on the same day.
​
We do not sell, rent, or disclose your personal information.
​
All transactions are completely secure using industry-standard encryption.

PRODUCT DELIVERY
Same day (door to door) courier fee of SGD$26.50 (<5kg) or standard (door to door) delivery courier fee of SGD$7.50 (<30kg, maximum dimension of 60x 40x 30 cm) is applicable.

Same day delivery can only be fulfilled if your completed prescription form has been verified, the full transaction has been completed and payment confirmed before 2 pm on the same day.
​
Standard delivery will take 2-3 days once your completed prescription form has been verified, the full transaction has been completed and payment confirmed.
​
The appropriate shipping fee will be calculated during check out.
​
Onsite collection of medication is only available with prior arrangement. Please send an email to sales@thepetpharmacy.com.sg for further clarification.
​
Orders placed on Friday will be shipped on Monday.
Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will not be shipped until the following business day.​
​
Delivery is only to residential addresses, between Monday to Friday, 12 pm - 6 pm.
No delivery can be done during public holidays.
​
Delivery address cannot be changed once checkout has been completed and payment confirmed.
​
Please arrange for a person to sign for the package(s)
For any unsuccessful deliveries, a delivery slip will be given and a new delivery can be scheduled with an additional fee.
​
All prescription will be dispensed/ shipped only after receipt of a valid prescription letter/ form/ order sent via email, verified by the signatory.
PRODUCT RETURN & REFUND
All perishable item(s) and medicine sold cannot be returned or refunded once they are in your possession, as we are unable to verify that the item(s) sold have been kept and stored in ideal conditions.

Please ensure that your order is correct at the point of checkout.
​
Non-perishable item(s) that has not been opened in the original packaging can be returned within 3 days of purchase.
​
All return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer.
​
Refund transactions will be processed within 14 days of our receipt of your returned item(s).
​
All second-hand products are not refundable.
Refund amounts are based on the product price paid after discounts (if applicable) and before shipping charges.
​
Item(s) to be returned must be sent in protective shipment packaging.
​
Item(s) damaged during return shipping will not be refunded.
​
Using a trackable, insured service to return your item(s) is highly recommended.
​
We will not be responsible for lost packages during return shipping.
